China’s new commercial cargo drone HH-200 successfully completes first autonomous flight

China has completed the first autonomous flight of its new commercial cargo drone HH-200.

The drone is designed for cross-border cargo transportation, domestic logistics, and air cargo transportation between Belt and Road Initiative partner countries.

HH-200’s main features:

➡️ Maximum payload: 1,500 kg.

➡️ Maximum range: 2,360 km.

➡️ Maximum speed: 310 km/h.

➡️ Total flight capability: 50,000 hours or 15,000 take-offs/landings.

➡️ Minimum runway requirement: 500 meters.
➡️ Operating temperature: -40°C to +50°C

➡️ The drone can be quickly converted to various tasks—such as emergency rescue, weather control, aerial data collection, and agricultural and forest conservation activities.
