Israel has launched a second wave of deadly attacks on Lebanon.

According to reports, the Israeli military continues its deadly attacks on Lebanon. Amidst the Iran-US ceasefire talks, Israel has launched new deadly airstrikes on southern Lebanon and populated areas of Beirut.

This is considered one of the deadliest attacks since the conflict with Hezbollah began at the end of March, in which 182 people were killed and nearly 900 injured.

The attack on the only functioning hospital in southern Lebanon, ‘Tebnin’, was claimed as part of the fight against Hezbollah.

Accusations of creating a buffer zone: Israeli troops are systematically carrying out destruction in areas adjacent to the UN-demarcated border or ‘Blue Line’, with the aim of creating a ‘buffer zone’.

Ceasefire and attacks: Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera reported that on April 9, a series of attacks were carried out in the towns of Haruf, Al-Dwair and Habbush in southern Lebanon during the ceasefire.
Iran’s warning: In the wake of such attacks, Iran has renewed its threat of war.

The situation is extremely worrying and the risk of creating long-term instability in the Middle East is increasing.
