1200+ academics from around the world strongly condemn Iran’s attacks

More than 1,200 academics and researchers from around the world have strongly condemned the US and Israeli attacks on Iranian scientific and educational institutions in an open letter.

The signatories to the letter called the attacks a gross violation of international law and demanded a UN investigation and accountability for those responsible.

It stated that science is not a military target and that universities or laboratories should not be turned into battlefields. Professors from leading universities around the world, including two Nobel laureates, supported the letter.
