In the seventh year of the Hijrah, Hazrat Zafar Tayyar returned to Medina after converting the king of Habasia to Islam. He returned at a time when victory in the battle of Khaibar had taken place.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw Jafar Tayyar coming from a distance and went a long way to greet him and hugged him and said: O Zafar, I will be happy to see you! Or will I be happy to win the battle of Khyber?

Then he said: Do you want me to give you something? Do you want to give me some presents? Do you want to give me something valuable?

Then Zafar Tayyar said: O Messenger of Allah, of course.

Everyone thought that he would give some of the spoils of war from Khaybar to Hazrat Zafar Tayyar.
